Creative Pursuit

My creative mission has two parts, my love to play and my love of the audience. The playing is easy, very fun, and is the core of what I do. If I can be so bold, I'm good at playing too. Yet, I still pale in comparison to the masterful abilities of children and dogs. The other side is the audience. Every work I have made gives my supposed audience a window into my own world of play. This window is open purposefully for them and is not guaranteed. It is a privilege to play for others, and it is a privilege to be viewed. I open up, and with it comes the fear and anxieties we all understand about being watched, yet I can take the time and the love given to me, and give it to the audience. My beautiful audience.

SOUP!

Playwright

A two body show about SOUP! and everything inside it. Watch CHEF MONDE create their favorite recipe- SOUP!

A strange journey that questions reality, thyme, and why Soup! is sooo good?

Created for Miles' Advanced Playwriting course under Matthew Olmos.

Particle Collector

original work in The partical collider showcase, ucsb

A movement piece of a humble collector of debris and dirt. The body and tool are one and the art is ephemeral. The Collector has a mop intersecting his body, to which he never touches it or his bucket with his hands. He paints with water using his full self and soon it evaporates, leaving nothing but a changed man.

Curated by Daniel Stein for the 2025 Particle Collider showcase.

The Greatest Pianist

Amplify go: plays in a day

playwright

We see the world destroyed and the last person left alive. All he wanted was to be the greatest pianist... too bad everyone had to die to make that happen.

A yearly festival to make a one-act play in 24 hours. As playwright, Miles had 12 hours to create a show based on the concept- UNKNOWN ARMAGEDON!
